The government of the Turks and Caicos Islands has changed the COVID-19 test requirements for entry to the Turks and Caicos Islands with effect from 28 July 2021. The testing window will be reduced from 5 days to 3 days prior to arrival, and acceptable test types will be expanded. All travellers to the Turks and Caicos Islands are still required to visit the TCI Assured Travel Authorization Portal in order to obtain a travel authorization for arrival in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This applies to all visitors/tourists and residents.
The following COVID-19 tests are now acceptable:-
- A Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (RT-PCR)
- A Nucleic Acid Amplification test (NAA)
- An RNA or molecular test
- An Antigen test completed via nasopharyngeal swab
